           Blacksmith Courses

Picture
Based near the beautiful Gower peninsular in Swansea, Celtic Metal takes individual or pairs of students. Keeping numbers small enables courses to
be tailored to the individual interests and skill levels.
Most popular are "Beginners Blacksmithing Days" often presented to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.
Students learn a range of traditional forging techniques and are
able to apply these to traditional or modern designs, returning home with a range of hand-made treasures.
We specialise in More specialist courses, these can be arranged, focussing on specific skills or techniques  requested, Including
copper repousse work. Student numbers are kept low in order to
maximise time at the anvil and to pitch the level of instruction and progress appropriately.
